Genesis 24:27, “And he said, “Blessed be the Lord God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken His mercy and His truth toward my master. As for me, being on the way, the Lord led me to the house of my master’s brethren.”

The focus of today’s nugget is the difficult, uncanny and unavoidable TASK or responsibility of successfully NAVIGATING through life. Real life is a mysterious journey. You can only have partial knowledge of both your destination and the route or path per time. There’s nobody who has the complete blueprint or roadmap of his or her life, except God. In fact, Ecclesiastes 3:11 says that, “He has set the right time for everything. He has given us a desire to know the future, but never gives us the satisfaction of fully understanding what he does.”

Dear friend, if you’re not familiar with this verse of the Bible, please, read it over and over again, until it becomes IMPRINTED in your mind and it begins to SPEAK to you. God has given you the DESIRE to know the FUTURE. However, He intentionally and deliberately kept from you the needed ability to COMPREHEND or understand EVERYTHING He is working out. Why? Because, God wants a RELATIONSHIP with you. In fact, you were created by DEFAULT to need God and not be able to survive without Him.

Beloved, have you heard the story of the hole in the donut before? Every normal human being is like a donut with a hole in his or her center, heart or CORE. And only God can PERFECTLY fit that hole. This is why you need an active and fluid relationship with God. Paul the Apostle said in The Acts 17:28 that, “in God we live, move, and exist. As some of your own poets said, ‘We are his offspring.’”

Dear friend, please, don’t be confused by the confusion of those who claim they survive and succeed without God in their lives. Because, God is your whole ESSENCE. So, of what advantage is a working relationship with God? This is the essence or importance of today’s scripture – the LEADING of God. Life can be easier, less stressful, more meaningful and less prone to mistakes, detours, scars, damages and losses if and when God leads you.

Look at most prominent and successful people all over the globe today, they have about one thing in common. Can you guess what it is? Well! If you said God, you’re wrong! Actually, what is common to them all is that, they somehow found their OWN place in life and the God ordained PATH. Though many may never give Jehovah God the credit, but it’s okay. God was actually responsible for their wins in life; the choice of career, business partners, spouse, location, investment, open doors etc.

Dear child of God, can you imagine what could have happened if Bill Gate had joined Hollywood instead of developing Microsoft? What if Jerry Eze, a full blooded Igbo boy raised in the market had gone into business? What if Nathaniel Bassey has ventured into basketball because of his height? What if Aliko Dangote has aspired to be a musician or haven’t you seen him dancing with swag before? And I can go on and on.

God has promised to lead you. He said, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you.” But, being in relationship with Him makes it easier. Why? Because, you would know and understand His voice and ways and not miss Him along the winding paths of life. You can make up your mind to follow more nearly and relate more closely today, so that, even the whisper of God concerning any area of your life will be loud in your ears and heart. Selah!
